My name is Jeremy Swick and I'm a historian, curator, archivist, gone rouge.
Born in Guatemala City, Guatemala, raised in Wisconsin, Jeremy is an experienced Historian, Curator, and Archivist, with a passion for history, education, and social media. He is known on social channels as @TheAverageHistorian. Why? He's just an "average guy" who loves playing rugby, talking history (especially sports history!) and continually learning.
He has been determined to chase goals which have led to extraordinary experiences. He has professionally worked at several institutions ranging from a historic photography museum to the Pro Football Hall of Fame and College Football Hall of Fame. How does social media come into the picture?

"Through my time working at various museums, one of the glaring issues I noticed was the lack of social media resources for museums. When there were resources available it was often outsourced to giant agencies that had incredibly large bills at the end of the month! I aimed to fix that. Instead of outsourcing many of my projects.
